Organized by the Estonian Shipowners\u2019 Association, Port of Tallinn, TalTech Estonian Maritime Academy, Tallink Group, and Corpore Conferences, the event will gather more than 30 top maritime experts as speakers under the theme \u201cNew Reality in Maritime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Keynote speakers include <strong>Costas Kadis<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/about\/organisation\/college-commissioners\/costas-kadis_en\">European Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans<\/a>, and <strong>Sotiris Raptis<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ecsa.eu\/ecsa-secretary-general-sotiris-raptis\/\">Secretary General of the European Community Shipowners\u2019 Associations<\/a> (ECSA). The conference also marks World Maritime Day, bringing together leaders from Estonia and neighboring countries\u2019 maritime, transport, public, academic, and business sectors to discuss the industry\u2019s future and propose solutions that strengthen both the economy and society.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1332\">Port of Tallinn<\/strong> plays a central role in this year\u2019s conference, highlighting how ports are evolving into strategic energy and innovation hubs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe future of maritime truly begins in the port,\u201d said <strong data-start=\"1521\" data-end=\"1538\">Margus Vihman<\/strong>, Chief Commercial Officer at Port of Tallinn. \u201cPorts have always powered economies by moving goods, attracting investment, and enabling trade. Now we stand on the brink of a new era: ports can become <strong data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"1761\">innovation engines<\/strong>, unlocking renewable energy, digitalisation, and automation. Without port infrastructure, offshore wind, hydrogen, or e-fuels cannot scale. But when a port builds that foundation, opportunities multiply \u2014 investors arrive, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ts.ee\/en\/industrial-parks\/\">industries grow<\/a>, and transformation accelerates.
