The vessel arrived from P\u00e4rnu and will continue its journey to Stockholm.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"401\" data-end=\"697\"><strong data-start=\"401\" data-end=\"417\">Nordstjernen<\/strong>, whose name means <em data-start=\"436\" data-end=\"448\">North Star<\/em>, was built in 1956 and is one of the classic vessels of the Norwegian fleet. With its ice-class hull and preserved retro-style atmosphere, the ship offers passengers an authentic seafaring experience reminiscent of the golden age of ocean travel.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"946\">The tourism company <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"739\">Arensburg Reisid<\/strong> has arranged an excursion for the mostly German passengers, taking them to discover the <strong data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"851\">Angla Windmill Hill<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"894\">Kaali meteorite crater and museum<\/strong>, as well as a guided walk through <strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"943\">Kuressaare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"969\">Season overview<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1384\">This season, six different vessels from five cruise lines called at Saaremaa a total of seven times, bringing <strong data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1100\">1,227 passengers<\/strong> to Estonia\u2019s largest island.<br data-start=\"1129\" data-end=\"1132\" \/>Most visitors came from the <strong data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1177\">United States<\/strong>, followed by <strong data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1253\">France, Canada, Germany, Australia, and the United Kingdom<\/strong>. In total, passengers of <strong data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1309\">39 different nationalities<\/strong> visited the island, making Saaremaa a truly international meeting place.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1431\">Saaremaa as an unique cruise destination<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1972\">Among Baltic Sea ports, Saaremaa stands out for its <strong data-start=\"1484\" data-end=\"1567\">untouched nature, distinctive cultural heritage, and warm, welcoming atmosphere<\/strong>. With its seaside Kuressaare Episcopal Castle, authentic rural architecture, and unique natural landmarks \u2013 such as the Kaali crater \u2013 Saaremaa is a valued destination for cruise
