Port of Tallinn Share Delivered a Stock Total Return of 29.6%<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual stock total return of the Port of Tallinn share amounted to 29.6%. As of 30 December 2025, the share price increased by 23% year-on-year, rising from EUR 1.056 to EUR 1.296. During 2025, the Port of Tallinn paid dividends of EUR 0.073 per share, totalling EUR 19.199 million, representing 100% of the previous year\u2019s profit.
\nThe Port of Tallinn has positioned its share as a dividend stock. The dividend policy targets net dividends of at least 70% of the previous year\u2019s profit, subject to market conditions, growth opportunities and liquidity needs. With a stable business model, diversified risks and ongoing growth projects, the Port of Tallinn remains an attractive investment with over 22,000 shareholders.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Recovery of Cargo Volumes and Record Shipments<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2025, cargo volumes continued to recover and several records were set. The Port of Tallinn\u2019s cargo ports handled a record 300,000 tonnes of steel originating from China and Turkey. In November, one of the largest grain shipments in the history of Muuga Harbour was loaded: 75,000 tonnes of Estonian-grown wheat, equivalent to nearly 2,600 truckloads, shipped to Spain.
\nIn Paldiski South Harbour, liquid bulk volumes recovered to pre-crisis levels, mainly consisting of cargo transported from major European ports for storage and blending and subsequently shipped onward as finished products to distant destinations.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Completion of the New Quay in Paldiski South Harbour<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 310-metre-long multifunctional quay with a water depth of 13.5 metres and a 10-hectare rear area was completed in Paldiski South Harbour. The new infrastructure creates conditions for cargo growth and new business opportunities, strengthens Estonia\u2019s defence capability and enables the Port of Tallinn to act as a key partner in onshore and offshore wind farm construction projects. The quay will enter operation following the issuance of the operating permit.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>New Wallenius SOL Ro-Ro Vessel<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since June, Paldiski South Harbour has been served by the environmentally friendly ro-ro vessel ML South Enabler operated by Wallenius SOL. The new vessel strengthens Wallenius SOL\u2019s presence in the Baltic region, supports sustainable maritime transport and diversifies cargo flows through the Port of Tallinn.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>New Opportunities and Investments in Muuga Harbour<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Muuga Harbour, several new development opportunities emerged in 2025. Panamir O\u00dc acquired the assets of Sankotrans and plans to establish a cocoa butter production facility. An agreement was signed with PK Terminal for the use of former Alekon land, where a new dry bulk warehouse will be developed.
\nFollowing the bankruptcy of MPG AgroProduction O\u00dc, a property in Muuga Harbour was returned to the Port of Tallinn. Due to its proximity to long and deep Panamax-capable quays, the site has strong potential for future development. A tender for the terminal land will be launched in 2026.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Rail Baltica Connection to Muuga Freight Terminal<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rail Baltic Estonia signed a design contract with AllSpark O\u00dc to connect Muuga Harbour to the future Rail Baltica network. The approximately 16 km Soodevahe\u2013Muuga section is planned for freight traffic. In connection with the Muuga rail terminal development, the Port of Tallinn transferred approximately 165,000 m\u00b2 of land to the state, which had a positive impact on the company\u2019s 2025 financial results.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Agreement on Kazakh Grain Transit<\/strong><\/p>\n

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Food Contract Corporation, Kedentransservice, the Port of Tallinn and Muuga Grain Terminal to explore the transit of up to 2 million tonnes of Kazakh grain through Muuga Harbour over three years.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>International Oil Spill Response Exercise \u201cClean Sea\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong>In June, the large-scale international oil spill response exercise \u201cClean Sea\u201d took place in the Baltic Sea, involving the Estonian Navy, the State Fleet and partners from Finland and Sweden. Muuga Harbour played a central role in testing cooperation and preparedness.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Successful Amendment of Electricity Network Tariffs<\/strong><\/p>\n

In November, the Estonian Competition Authority approved amendments to the Port of Tallinn\u2019s electricity network tariffs in Old City Harbour, Muuga Harbour and Paldiski South Harbour. The amendment has a positive impact on financial performance.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Estonia\u2019s First BIM-Based Building Permit<\/strong><\/p>\n

The City of Tallinn issued Estonia\u2019s first BIM-based building permit for the construction of the largest substation in Old City Harbour near the cruise terminal, developed by KOKO Architects in cooperation with the Port of Tallinn. The project received the Innovation Project of the Year award.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>EU Funding for Cruise Ship Shore Power<\/strong><\/p>\n

With EU support, a shore power connection for cruise ships will be built in Old City Harbour by 2030, significantly reducing emissions and noise and strengthening the Port of Tallinn\u2019s competitiveness.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>New Cruise Operator and Vessels<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2025, Old City Harbour welcomed a new cruise operator, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, with the vessel Ilma. In addition, 11 cruise vessels visited the harbour for the first time. Over nine months, Tallinn and Saaremaa handled 125 cruise calls by 50 vessels, bringing over 190,000 cruise passengers.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Record Winter Cruise Season<\/strong><\/p>\n

A record winter cruise season was achieved with five cruise calls in November and December, bringing over 15,000 passengers.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>TUI and the Estonian Food Bank Join Forces<\/strong><\/p>\n

From 2025, hundreds of kilos of surplus food from TUI Cruises ships calling at Tallinn Old City Harbour will be donated to people in need. The initiative between TUI Cruises, the Port of Tallinn and the Estonian Food Bank helps reduce food waste while supporting local communities. This year, Mein Schiff 7<\/em> donated 207.1 kg of food during four visits.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Swed-Est Green Collaboration Launched with the Port of Stockholm<\/strong><\/p>\n

In November, the Port of Tallinn and the Port of Stockholm signed a Memorandum of Understanding, launching the Swed\u2013Est Green Collaboration. The partnership promotes environmentally sustainable, fossil-fuel-free port services between Tallinn, Stockholm, Paldiski South Harbour and Kapellsk\u00e4r. The agreement includes concrete joint projects to deliver future-proof solutions for passengers and cargo operators.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>35 Years of the Tallinn-Stockholm Ferry Route<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 17 June, 35 years marked the restoration of regular ferry services between Tallinn and Stockholm, symbolising renewed ties with Western Europe. Since then, over 20 million passengers have travelled this route, highlighting its importance for connectivity, tourism and economic development.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>60 Years of the Tallinn-Helsinki Ferry Route<\/strong><\/p>\n

On 7 July 2025, 60 years passed since the reopening of the regular ferry connection between Tallinn and Helsinki\u2014a milestone in Estonian\u2013Finnish relations.<\/p>\n

Dating back to the 19th century, the route was interrupted during the Second World War and reopened in 1965, becoming Soviet-era Estonia\u2019s only permanent maritime link to the West.<\/p>\n

The anniversary was celebrated at Tallinn Old City Harbour with a lively public event organised by the Port of Tallinn and ferry operators, featuring a large open-air quiz that drew a record crowd.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Honouring Maritime Heritage at the Old City Harbour<\/strong><\/p>\n

In February, a landmark marking the historical location of the Estonian Maritime Museum was unveiled at the D-Terminal, commemorating the museum\u2019s founding 90 years ago. In July, named captains\u2019 benches were unveiled around Admiralty Basin to honour distinguished Estonian captains.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Strengthened Cooperation with Universities<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Port of Tallinn strengthened cooperation with Tallinn University through a framework agreement signed on 16 June to improve mobility solutions in the Sadama Asum area. Cooperation also continued with the Estonian Academy of Arts and Aalto University through the \u201cFrom Port to City\u201d project, as well as with TalTech through MarineHack 2025, focusing on maritime innovation.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Investment Club Initiative
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

In October, the Port of Tallinn Group launched an employee Investment Club to promote financial literacy and investment knowledge.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Green Marine \u2013 Circular Economy Promoter of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n

Port of Tallinn\u2019s associated company Green Marine AS was awarded the 2025 Circular Economy Promoter of the Year title for its construction and demolition waste treatment facility.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>TS Laevad<\/strong><\/p>\n

Extension of Management Board Member\u2019s Mandate
\n<\/strong>The Supervisory Board of TS Laevad extended the term of office of Management Board member Katrin Aron for three years starting from 20 March 2026. Katrin Aron joined TS Laevad in March 2023 and is responsible for service and commercial areas.<\/p>\n

Top 3 Regional Internship Provider
\n<\/strong>TS Laevad provides practical training opportunities for future deckhands, motormen and electro-mechanics. In 2025, TS Laevad was recognised among the Top 3 regional internship providers by the Estonian Employers\u2019 Confederation, selected from a record 104 applications.<\/p>\n

New Merchandise Products
\n<\/strong>After several years, TS Laevad expanded its onboard merchandise range. New items now include sticker sheets, playing cards and textile tote bags, available alongside magnets and pens.<\/p>\n

New Playrooms on the Virtsu-Kuivastu line
\n<\/strong>The children\u2019s playrooms on ferries Piret and T\u00f5ll were relocated to Deck 5 and fully renovated. Similar playrooms are now also located on Deck 5 on the Hiiumaa line ferries.<\/p>\n

Record Summer Season<\/strong>
\nDuring summer 2025, TS Laevad carried 1,062,168 passengers and 462,256 vehicles on the Saaremaa and Hiiumaa ferry routes \u2013 the highest figures ever recorded. Passenger numbers increased by 0.2% and vehicles by 1.8% compared to summer 2024.<\/p>\n

Digital Logbooks and MARPOL Module<\/strong>
\nOn 17 July, TS Laevad implemented the MARPOL module of the electronic logbook system, enabling digital logging of oil and garbage records. This supports efficiency and environmental compliance under the MARPOL Convention.<\/p>\n

Safety Exercises and Maritime Safety Days
\n<\/strong>Maritime Safety Days were held on TS Laevad ferries in July, focusing on lifejacket awareness. In addition, a Defence Forces exercise was conducted onboard ferry Tiiu, focusing on security response scenarios.<\/p>\n

Shore Power Testing in Virtsu
\n<\/strong>TS Laevad conducted a two-week shore power test in cooperation with Shore Link O\u00dc, connecting ferry Piret to a shore power unit at Virtsu port to assess technical feasibility for future electric ferry charging.<\/p>\n

E-ticket System Improvements
\n<\/strong>From 20 May, changes were implemented in the e-ticket booking system to improve clarity regarding sold-out departures and general queue ticket availability.<\/p>\n

Power Grid Desynchronisation Preparedness<\/strong>
\nIn preparation for the Baltic States\u2019 disconnection from the Russian power grid and synchronisation with Continental Europe on 8 February, TS Laevad reviewed and prepared contingency measures for extended power and communication outages.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>TS Shipping<\/strong><\/p>\n

Successful Salvage Operation of Cargo Vessel Thamesborg<\/strong>
\nOn 6 September 2025, the Dutch-flagged cargo vessel Thamesborg ran aground in Franklin Strait, Northern Canada. Icebreaker Botnica participated in the successful salvage operation, preventing environmental damage.<\/p>\n

Digital and Technological Development
\n<\/strong>In 2025, TS Shipping achieved significant digital progress, becoming the first Estonian-flagged vessel granted magnetic compass exemption. Electronic logbooks, upgraded navigation and DP systems, and online crew training were introduced.<\/p>\n

Technical Maintenance and Vessel Condition Improvements
\n<\/strong>Extensive maintenance works included lifeboat davit overhauls, corrosion control, repainting, and renovation of accommodation facilities, largely completed by the vessel\u2019s own crew.<\/p>\n

Crew Training and Operational Readiness<\/strong>
\nRegular onboard training, helicopter exercises and systematic trainee programmes ensured high operational readiness. Crew equipment upgrades included electric bicycles and laptops, improving efficiency.<\/p>\n

Visibility and Public Engagement<\/strong>
\nTS Shipping participated in public events such as Operation \u201cPoi\u201d and Tallinn Maritime Days, enhancing visibility and public outreach.<\/p>\n

Efficiency and Cost Management
