Multifunctional Logistics & Installation Base for Offshore Wind Farms

New multi-purpose quay 6A in Paldiski South Harbour:

The multifunctional quay at Paldiski South Harbour is specifically designed to serve offshore wind farms as an installation hub.
It is able to accommodate specialized vessels servicing offshore wind construction and component transport. The quay, combined with its 10-hectare storage area directly behind it, streamlines processes and reduces turnaround time. Adjustable RoRo ramp with bearing capacity of 9000 kN allows receiving heavy cargo units.

This strategic investment enhances related manufacturing activities in Paldiski Industrial Park, creating a powerful synergy between the quay and the industrial park for efficient production, storage, and logistics in one centralized location.

Multi-purpose quay 6a:

  • Area: 10 ha
  • Length: 310 m
  • Depth: 13.5 m
  • Quay bearing capacity: 200-400KN/m2
  • Adjustable Ramp with bridge width 32 m. Ramp bearing capacity in horizontal position is up to 9000 kN
  • Ca. 15 ha area available for storage of the components beside the quay
  • Opportunities for exlusive use of quayside

Paldiski: Logistics & Energy HUB

Paldiski South Harbour and its Industrial Park are located just 50 kilometres west from Tallinn on the Pakri Peninsula, a key hub for storage, logistics, and production within the green energy and industrial sectors. With established wind and solar farms, Estonia’s only LNG quay and ongoing energy innovations, the area is primed for sustainable industry growth.

As the shortest seaway from Estonia to Sweden and home to the country’s only quay suitable to accommodate specialized offshore wind service and transportation vessels, Paldiski South Harbour offers unique opportunities for forward-thinking investors.
