The parent company Tallinna Sadam AS (Port of Tallinn) is the biggest port authority in Estonia and its strategic goal is to develop the competitiveness of Estonia as a maritime country.
The activities of Port of Tallinn are divided mainly between the following areas:

- passengers and activities related to serving them

Operating regular ferry traffic between Estonia’s major islands (Saaremaa, Hiiumaa) and the mainland according to the contract with the state.
TS Laevad owns five ferries, of which Tõll, Piret and Regula operate the Virtsu-Kuivastu line and Leiger and Tiiu the Rohuküla-Heltermaa line.
Providing icebreaking and other maritime support/offshore services with the multifunctional icebreaking vessel MPSV Botnica,being contracted by state of Estonia for winter periods. It also provides full management services for vessels, including commercial, technical and crewing.

Green Marine Ltd. is a joint venture of Port of Tallinn Ltd. and NT Marine Ltd. GM economical activity is targeted on developing of environmental services for ports and ships, on sea pollution prevention, localization and liquidation issues in accordance with international standards.
GM also coordinates waste management services offering to the ships within the ports of Port of Tallinn (Muuga Port, Old Port, Paljassaare Harbor, Paldiski South Harbor and Saaremaa Harbor).
