68 percent of the Port of Tallinn passengers used Tallink

In March, a total of 616 861 passengers travelled through the Port of Tallinn from whom 411 082 or 68 percent used the services of Tallink.

In last March, the services of Tallink were used by 70 percent of the port’s passengers, i.e. by 365 583 people from the total of 544 406 people who travelled through the port.

From the people travelling through the port this March, Viking Line and Eckerö Line provided services to 128 039 and 63 612 passengers respectively. Passengers to whom the companies provided services formed from the people travelling through the port 21 and 9 percent respectively which is the same result as last year.

In March, St. Peter Line provided services on the St. Petersburg – Stockholm – Tallinn – St. Petersburg route to 13 996 passengers which is nearly 50 percent more than in February.

The total number of passengers who have travelled through the Port of Tallinn during three months this year is 1.65 million passengers which is more by 5.2 percent in comparison with the same period last year.
