Recommendations for passengers regarding the increased spread of Covid-19

When going on a trip

  • In preparation for the trip, visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the European Union Reopen portal and find out the current restrictions and requirements regarding the spread of Covid-19 of your destination country.
  • Do not forget the identification document.
  • Come to the harbour in time.
  • Follow the 2 + 2 rule, follow the signs in the passenger terminal.
  • Disinfect your hands.
  • Please wear a mask that protects you and other passengers from possible infection with the virus.
  • Avoid contact with other passengers, follow the information on the screens.
  • If necessary, contact the port staff.

Arriving to Estonia

  • Passenger information forms can be submitted via the Health Board’s self-service environment already 3 days before the arrival:  https://iseteenindus.terviseamet.ee/
  • Visit https://www.kriis.ee/et/reisimine-riigipiir to find out the restrictions in force in Estonia at the time of arrival.
  • If desired, download the HOIA application https://www.kriis.ee/et/koroonaviirus-selle-ennetamine-tunnused-ja-levimine.
  • Follow the 2 + 2 rule, follow the signs in the passenger terminal.
  • Be prepared to provide information at the border crossing point about your itinerary, travel companions, possible contacts with people at risk of infection and whether you have had any symptoms of viral illnesses in recent days.

Confido Coronavirus testing points are open for arriving passengers on the second floor of the arrival area of Terminal A and on the ground floor of Terminal D. The testing points are only open during the ships’ scheduled arrival times.

Testing based on an Estonian identity document (Estonian citizen’s or alien’s passport, Estonian ID card or residence permit card) is free of charge for Estonian residents arriving from or transiting from Coronavirus risk countries (countries with an infection rate of more than 150). Testing is charged for arrivals and foreign nationals from countries that are not at risk.
