Port of Tallinn sold the assets of the bankrupt coal terminal to the Finnish company Rauanheimo

Port of Tallinn sold the equipment of the coal terminal in Muuga Harbour as a whole asset to the Finnish company Rauanheimo, through a public auction. Two tenderers participated and the best tender was made by the Finnish port operator Oy M.Rauanheimo Ab. Parties do not want to publish the price of the transaction.

Oy M Rauanheimo Ab operates cargo terminals in ten different Finnish ports from Kalajoki to Hamina.

In the end of June, Port of Tallinn signed an agreement with MPG AgroProduction OÜ for the development of an oilseeds processing and logistics complex in Muuga Harbour to the former coal terminal area.
