The mixed choir of Port of Tallinn represented Estonia and our culture in Prague

Did you know that Port of Tallinn has a choir that consists mainly of the current and former employees of Port of Tallinn? On the last weekend of April our mixed choir took part of an international choral event Prague Spring Choral Meeting.

7 choirs from 5 different European countries came together to perform in the churches of Old Town Prague, Port of Tallinn’s choir being the only one from Estonia. Our choir had the chance to give two concerts on two different days.

Port of Tallinn’s Mixed Choir learned the repertoire in seven different languages – Estonian, German, English, Russian, Chezch and the languages of South Africa’s Shona and Zulu tribes – the main focus being on Estonian composers’ creation.

It was an honor to represent Estonia and our culture!

The Port of Tallinn’s mixed choir was established in 2004 and consists mainly of the employees and former employees of Port of Tallinn. The choir is conducted by Eero Raun and Katrin Järvlepp.
