New travel requirements for Finland and Sweden will apply from 28th of December due to travel restrictions imposed by the Finnish and Swedish governments.
When traveling from Estonia to Finland starting from 28th of December, a negative COVID test certificate done at least 48 hours prior to arrival (both PCR tests and antigen tests) must be presented upon entry into the country in addition to the vaccination certificate or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 disease. The requirement to provide a negative test certificate applies to all passengers from the age of 16.
The exceptions are Finnish citizens and permanent residents, who continue to have the right to enter Finland without a test and take the test at their place of residence upon arrival.
When traveling from Estonia to Sweden, a negative COVID test certificate done at least 48 hours prior to arrival must be presented upon entry into the country (both PCR and antigen tests are acceptable). The requirement to provide a negative test certificate also applies to vaccinated and COVID recovery certified passengers and all passengers from the age of 12. The exceptions are Swedish citizens and permanent residents, who continue to have the right to enter Sweden without a test and take the test at their place of residence upon arrival.
Passengers who make round trips without disembarking from the ship at their destination do not need to have the COVID test certificate.
