In 2025, cargo volumes continued to recover and several records were set. The Port of Tallinn’s cargo ports handled a record 300,000 tonnes of steel originating from China and Turkey. In November, one of the largest grain shipments in the history of Muuga Harbour was loaded: 75,000 tonnes of Estonian-grown wheat, equivalent to nearly 2,600 truckloads, shipped to Spain.
In Paldiski South Harbour, liquid bulk volumes recovered to pre-crisis levels, mainly consisting of cargo transported from major European ports for storage and blending and subsequently shipped onward as finished products to distant destinations.
